Laurie Bolger is a London based writer & performer. Her work has featured at Glastonbury Festival, the Royal Albert Hall, TATE, Sky Arts, Roundhouse & across various BBC platforms. In 2014 Laurie was was shortlisted for Young Poet Laureate for London & went on to publish her debut pamphlet collection Box Rooms by Burning Eye Books.

Laurie has written & worked with major brands including EY, Nationwide, Small Luxury Hotels & Google as well as working with charities such as Mind, Coppafeel Choose Love.

Laurie’s recent work includes ‘Talking to Strangers’ a theatre show about community & the kindness, something which features at the heart of her work. Laurie is currently working on her first full length play & a second collection of poetry; Call Me Lady.

Laurie has been running creative workshops for the past decade allowing people to celebrate their own unique voices & individuality. She is the founder of The Creative Writing Breakfast Club & runs various wellness events with her sister and yoga instructor Gem & i Yoga combining movement, writing & books.

Her poems have appeared in The London Magazine, Moth, Crannog, Stand, and Trinity Colleges Icarus. In 2022 Laurie’s writing was shortlisted for The Bridport Prize, Moth Poetry Prize, Live Canon, Winchester & Sylvia Plath Prize.
