I run regular workshops and events that you’re very welcome to come along to. Some are writing workshops, some are writing and wellness workshops. They’re all online at the moment.
Creative Writing Breakfast Club
This session is about letting your creativity lead the way, generating new and exciting writing in your own unique style. During this workshop I’ll take you through fast paced writing exercises to boost mindfulness. All you need is a pen and paper and somewhere chilled to sit and let your imagination do its thing.
Slow Flow and Words
Slow Flow and Words mixes restorative style yoga and journalling. During this session I collaborate with a yoga instructor to bring you poses that match carefully chosen extracts from books, allowing you to wind down before bed. All levels welcome.

Stretch and Scribble – yoga and creative writing
Join me & Yoga Teacher Gemma Bolger for a creative session of stretching & scribbling (via Zoom)
Laurie and Gem mix yoga, meditation and creative writing in this creative session to kick start the weekend in a positive way! You’ll need a yoga mat or soft surface to stretch on, a notepad and pen (colours also welcome) and comfortable clothes you can move easily in.
We can also run this session for children aged 5+

Creative Writing Supper Club
The Creative Writing Supper Club takes all the encouraging energy of Breakfast Club with some added connection and of course good food! The group are sent a recipe in advance which they will have the option to make and bring along. Diners are invited to spend an evening of low pressure connection with some good food and scribbling.
